Where to get low-cost vaccines & microchips

[1] Come by Stray Hearts Animal Shelter scheduled vaccine event days [Next one is Friday June 28th] from 11AM to 2PM, and they will VACCINATE your pet including:
- Rabies (dogs and cats)
- Distemper Parvo (dogs)
- Bordetella (dogs)
- Feline Distemper (cats)
- And a FREE Microchip!
EACH Vaccine $10.
*All pets must be at least 6 weeks of age. Dogs must be leashed. Cats must be crated. Supplies may be limited. First come, first served.
DOGS: PARVO-DISTEMPER VACCINE
[2] Owner-administered vaccines for dogs are available at Tractor Supply, Blue Sky Pet & Feed Supply 575-758-1841, and Taos Tack and Supply 575-737-9798.
Vaccines, to be effective, must remain refrigerated prior to administration, so bring your dog or ice cooler if you purchase it from

DOGS/CATS: RABIES & PARVO-DISTEMPER VACCINE
[3] The Santa Fe Humane's low cost spay-neuter clinic offers vaccines each Friday by appointment: 505-474-6422 (accepts texts). $15 per vaccine. 2570-B Camino Entrada, Santa Fe 87507.
[4] The Española Valley Humane 505-753-0228, 108 Hamm Pkwy, Española 87532 has vaccine clinics. Check their Events Calendar for the current schedule. EVHS vaccine clinics are walk-in & usually 9am-3pm. $10/vaccine for animals that are fixed (already spayed/neutered), $20/vaccine for unaltered pets with breeder's permit. Microchips* are $10 (unless with spay-neuter surgery, then it's free for cats). Dogs should be on leash, and cats in secure carriers. Reminder: dog & cat vaccines are FREE when done at the time of spay-neuter, & microchips are FREE for cats if done at the time of spay-neuter.
