Supporting Spay-Neuter Services Through Donation

Please help Taos control its cat overpopulation problem and reduce cat intake for our local animal shelter by purchasing feral cat traps for the Stray Hearts Animal Shelter. This way the shelter can loan out traps to the public, and caring people can perform Trap-Neuter-Return on feral cats.

This model trap (605NC - 30" Cat Trap) will last a long time, and comes with a sliding back door for ease in feeding as well as releasing the cat after he/she has recovered from spay-neuter surgery.
If you're buying in bulk, then purchasing the Tomahawk Live Trap directly from Tomahawk vs on Amazon.com is a less expensive per trap option.

A cheaper trap is available at the Tractor Supply Store in Taos ($25-$30). It won't last as long, but will do in a pinch for most feral cats: CountyLine Catch & Release Live Animal Trap
In comes in a 2 pack, but only the medium size/larger of the 2 pack is useful for trapping cats.
